The editorial project “160 years of refining in Romania” was initiated by KMG International and was communicated between November 22 and December 16, 2016.

The project was dedicated to the celebration in 2017 of 160 years of refining since the first crude oil was processed in Romania at a refinery in Râfov near Ploiesti, which also was the first refinery in the world, built by brothers Teodor and Marin Mehedinţeanu in 1857.
