It takes place from June 29th through July 1st, at the Village Museum Dimitrie Gusti and brings to the public a unique photo exhibition, a traditional yurt.

Astana, located on the banks of Ishim River, became the capital city of Kazakhstan in 1997, and since then has developed economically into one of the most modernized cities in Central Asia, with futuristic-looking buildings designed by world famous architects and exceeding 1 million inhabitants. Expo 2017 in Astana opened on June 10, being the first world's fair to be held in Central Asia and its central pavilion, Nur Alem, being the largest spherical building in the world. More than 4 million people visited the exhibition.

The price of a standard ticket issued by the Village Museum is 15 lei, discounted to 8 lei for pensioners and to 4 lei for children and students.
