Rompetrol Well Services has doubled its net profit in the first 9 months of 2013

Rompetrol Well Services (RWS), a member-company of the Rompetrol Group, has doubled its net profit* up to almost 7,200,000 USD** (23,865,900 RON) in the first 9 months of the year, 54% more than the figure registered in the same period of 2012. As well, the net turnover has increased by 37%, from 20,990,000 USD (69.375.218 RON) up to approximately 29 million USD (95.564.094 RON) in the first 9 months of 2013.

“The results obtained by RWS have at their basis an efficient administration of direct and indirect effects of the volatile business environment, flexibility in negotiating commercial contracts in accordance with the current situation in the area of demand for services. Besides, in this period we have implemented some investments amounting over 2 million USD that allow us providing qualitative well services under the condition of economical efficiency”, Adrian Stănescu declares, Deputy General Manager.

During this period RWS contribution to the state budget was over 8,500,000 USD (28 million RON), out of that over 1 million USD is profit tax. In order to provide success in quality of services, occupational health and safety of employees and environmental protection, Rompetrol Well Services has implemented and is maintaining since 2006 an integrated management system, certified in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 8001.

Founded in 1951, Rompetrol Well Services at the present moment has 350 employees in Romania and Kazakhstan and has provided services in such countries as Sudan, Iraq, Jordan, Greece and Turkey. Since 2000 the company has been taken over by the  Rompetrol Group that is the majority shareholder with 71,73%.
